Sprinkler Head Burst In Local St. Mary's County Hotel

This hotel experienced a massive three story water damage caused by a sprinkler head burst. Approximately a dozen room on each floor, along with the hotel lobby, eatery and kitchen were affected. Luckily, no job is too big for SERVPRO of St. Mary's and Calvert County and we were able to get in there right away to start ripping out the damaged interior and getting our fans running to start the drying process.

You will notice in the first picture the carpet was still intact while in the second the carpet had been removed. Water can often hide beneath the carpet and in the carpet pad, which if not taken care of can lead to the growth of mold. It is important when dealing with a water damage that each and every layer is inspected and that the entire area is dried.
