The 2020 COVID-19 Storm

Although these are not your typical “before & after” pictures or not your typical “storm” photos, one would argue they fit the criteria.

Our SERVPRO team has been rapidly and aggressively working to help out our community members in attacking the horrible Coronavirus that has been storming through the world, destroying one's feeling of safety and livelihood much like what a tornado would do. 

SERVPRO of St. Mary’s and Calvert Counties has been called to multiple commercial properties for the cleaning and disinfecting of their building. While there is currently no product that has been specifically tested against this strain of the Coronavirus, the CDC has recommended usage of hospital grade disinfectants with claims against similar pathogens to the Coronavirus. SERVPRO has multiple products that meet these standards and carry the EPA-registered emerging pathogen claims. 

You may wonder why there is no actual “before” photo. Well the reason is because taking a photo the building would appear normal and in good condition. What you don’t see is the germs along the wall and on the high touch areas. So instead two photos of our technicians with their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on, cleaning and applying disinfected with containment set up in the background seems like a better option.
